Privacy

This website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

Theme choice

The light and dark theme follows your device setting and stores nothing. If you pick Light or Dark in the theme menu, the choice is saved in this browser’s local storage under the name emilioborges:theme. Picking Match system deletes it. The value never leaves your browser.

Visitor statistics

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and uses no local storage. It records the page viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, the approximate country and page load times, and reports only totals. Details are in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Hosting

Cloudflare delivers these pages. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details to serve the pages and protect the site from abuse. If Cloudflare’s bot protection needs to check a visit, it may set a short-lived security cookie used only for that purpose.

Publications and other websites

Each publication has its own privacy page; the paper’s covers its comment section. Links to other websites, including the book links in the library, take you to sites with their own policies.

Children

This website is written for professionals and is not directed at children under 13.

Fonts and other resources

All fonts are served from this site. Images or links that point to other websites contact those websites only when an image loads or when you follow the link.
